Description

Observations and recording during construction of a new road and footpaths in an extension to Upton Country Park revealed a series of medieval boundary ditches of probable 13-14th-century date. A small quantity of 10-12th-century pottery might indicate an earlier date for some. To the north were some indications of possible clay or cob structures and hearths, also of possible medieval date.
