Description

A magnetometer survey was carried out of 2.22ha of the site using a Bartington Grad601-2 dual fluxgate gradiometer. Grid nodes were established at 30m by 30m intervals and data collected at 0.25m intervals spaced 1m apart. Few features of archaeological interest were revealed. The clearest were two probable ditch sections, one a curving section at the north western corner of the site and one at the south western corner of the site and a possible pit lying towards the north easterly corner of the site. Other results were related to modern agricultural activity.
