Description
Archaeological evaluation comprising excavation of five trenches in the area of an enclosure identified from geophysical survey, and four trenches elsewhere in the area of the proposed quarry extension. The presence of a well preserved prehistoric ditched enclosure was confirmed. Features within it suggested settlement.
