Description

Observations and recording by Terrain Archaeology during installation of two wooden benches north of West Mill revealed a deep topsoil containing brick and stone rubble over a dark yellowish-brown silty sand subsoil. No finds were recovered. The rubble is likely to have come from the demolition of West Mill in the 20th century.
