Evaluation of a site proposed for development was undertaken by AC archaeology during March 2004. The work comprised the machine-excavation of two trenches totalling 18m in length, each positioned in areas of proposed development. No archaeological features were revealed, although two sherds of medieval pottery were recovered from overburden contexts.
