Description
NRHE: Archive is held in Shipp's scrapbook which is located in the Library of Dorset County Museum, Dorchester. ents (12–21)
This is thought to be one of four barrows opened by J C Mansel-Pleydell in 1863. This barrow was described as being composed mainly of mould, with a 'flint cist' with five urns containing cremations at the centre, and a sixth urn with a cremation lay nearby.
