Description

A tesselated pavement is said to have been fund immediately south west of Manor Farm, and must have been discovered before 1864, when reference is made in the journal of the British Archaeological Association to Roman coins found in a bank of earth near the Roman villa. Note: the NRHE, however, refer to the JBAA second series volume 1 (1895) and 20 p 273.
