Description

Survey type: Magnetometer: scan Magnetometer surveys were carried out at five points along the proposed route of the Southern Dorchester By-pass in conjunction with excavation by Trust for Wessex Archaeology, to assess the threat to buried archaeology. In all areas, response to the technique was poor and little information about buried features was recovered.
