Description

AC archaeology carried out an archaeological evaluation on the site of a proposed primary school in Chickerell. Five trenches covering an area of 333 square metres were excavated. No significant archaeological features or deposits were encountered, despite the site lying close to a known Romano-British settlement and burials.(1) (2)
