Description

Forty-one trenches excavated following an assessment (Event 1350687) and in advance of proposed mineral extraction recorded features spanning the Bronze Age to Romano-British period. Funded by New Milton Sand and Ballast Company. Ring ditch, cremation, field boundary, field system. Palaeochannel.
