Terrain Archaeology carried out a desk-based assessment on a site proposed for the construction of a park-and-ride at Marshes End, Creekmoor, Poole in November 2001. No archaeological sites or findspots are recorded on the site itself, but there is some indication of prehistoric and Roman activity in the area, particularly on the shores of Holes Bay. A site walk-over survey did not reveal any potential unrecorded archaeology. Overall, the site of the park-and-ride was considered to have a low archaeological potential.
