NRHE: Corresponds to Grinsells number 46R. Archive re. This excavation is detailed in Shipp's scrapbook held at Dorset County Museum: SHIPP,W./1859/DORSETSHIRE/II:53.
HER comment: Shipp's scrapbook so ref. Hutchins, and NOT Solly's excavation archive? This excavation was after Wake Smart's excavation in 1840, and Shipp died in 1873.
