Summary
An arch of Portland Stone erected in the nineteenth century, and formerly the entrance way to a brewery, now converted to housing. The top of the arch has the inscription "Pale Ale Brewery". Site of a pale ale brewery operated by John Standish and taken over by Sarah Eldridge and Alfred Mason of Eldridge and Mason in 1854.
