Summary
A monument commemorating Dorset dialect poet William Barnes in the form of a bronze standing figure by sculptor E Roscoe Mullins. The figure is set on a stone plinth and was erected in 1888. Barnes was rector of Winterborne Came, a teacher, and one of the founders of the Dorset County Museum.
