Summary

Gate piers erected around 1900. They are of brick with ashlar coping and dressings. The two main piers are topped with elaborate stone capitals topped with stone balls and cartouches inscribed with ‘Queens Avenue’. Walls link the main piers to pairs of subsidiary piers flanking the pavement.
