Full Description
Listed as White's Dairy Farmhouse.<2>
East Farmhouse (SY 71349768) a two storeyed building with banded flint and square rubble walls and thatched roofs is probably of the first half of the 17th century. The east front has masonry of two types; a stone set into the northern part bears the date 1622; the differently coursed south part appears to be a little later. The gabled south front is mainly of flint and rubble and appears to have been rebuilt probably in the 18th and 19th century. At the rear of the house is a single-storeyed wing with thatched roof of probable 18th century date. Reset over the south ground floor window of the east front is a fragment of Medieval cusped tracery. <3>
