Full Description

Colescote (SY 70799898), a two-storeyed house with banded flint and rubble walls, mostly rendered, and thatched roof. The east front has a projecting porch with square-headed doorway, above which is a stone inscribed MFS 1692'. Except for the porch and the north bay of the east front the range probably dates from the late 16th or early 17th century; much of the front having been subsequently rebuilt in cob. <2>
