Summary
A mid 17th century 2 storey farmhouse with a later 17th century wing. The walls are of ashlar and the roof is slate with a tile ridge and stone gable-copings.

(ST 43070594) Manor House (NR) (Remains of). (1)
Two storeyed house of stone with slate-covered roof. The west wing was built early in the 17th century, and the south wing, making the plan L-shaped, was added in the middle of the same
century and extended south towards the end of the century. (2-3)
The house was originally a manor house, and is now known as 'Manor Farm' (a).
The description above is correct. A stone doorway surives on the south face, and there are mullioned windows of three and four lights. (4)
