Summary
A detached house of seventeenth-century date, with eighteenth-century additions and alterations and a date stone with inscription ‘R I R 1738’. The north wing has retained more of its seventeenth-century appearance. The building has walls of dressed stone with stone buttresses, and a thatched roof.

Full Description
The N. block of the farm-house was built in the 17thc. The S. wing with E & W gables c.1738. <2>
The farm is known as YONDOVER FARM. I know nothing of its history <3.1>. A well preserved stone built farmhouse which lacks external features of dateable antiquity. A datestone in the South wall reads RIB 1738. <3>
