Summary
Site of a possible oval barrow visible as an earthwork and cropmark on aerial photographs. It is one of a group of three possible barrows located at this vicinity (MDO1147-49).

Full Description
'A' - SY 60669348, 'B' - SY 60729351 and 'C' - SY 60889354. Three bowl barrows. 'B' - Oval shaped, perhaps due to position on spur of hill.
Diameter 28 x 20 paces, height 7ft. <2>
60ft. in diam and 5ft. high, one of three barrows. Similar information to auth 2, but lesser dimensions. <3>
Three grass covered bowl barrows, with no visible ditches. 'B'. Flinty, and mutilated by rabbits. The barrow is elongated NE-SW; with diameters of 17.0 metres N-S, and 22.0 metres E-W. On the south side it is 2.1 metres high, and on the north 1.2 metres high. A lynchet runs onto the SW quadrant of the barrow. <4>
'B'. SY 60739351. Bowl barrow as described (4) with maximum height of 3.0 metres. All the barrows are under grass and have not been ploughed over.
Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <5>
Site of a possible oval barrow visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs. It could be a Middle Neolithic oval barrow type or an elongated Bronze Age bowl barrow. It is one of a group of three possible barrows located at this vicinity (MDO1147-49). <6-8>
