Summary
133-139 North Allington is an example of an earlier rural building becoming absorbed into a suburban context. The original house, probably built in 17th century retains the original window and door surrounds. It has an elongated plan with a cross passage and a probable stone- floored hall. It was converted into a terrace of small houses by piecemeal additions.

Full Description
133-139 North Allington is an example of an earlier rural building becoming absorbed into a suburban context. The Original house, Nos. 133-135, was probably built in 17th century and is of hammer dressed stone, with freestone dressings, including the original window and door surrounds. It has an elongated plan with a cross passage and a probable stone- floored hall. It was converted into a terrace of small houses by piecemeal additions. (1) (2) It has a modern tiled roof.
Internally there are exposed chamfered ceiling beams and a plank partition (1)
