Summary

Two storey house with rubble walls and tiled roofs. The house Comprises an original three bedroom class F house of circa 1500, enlarged with an eighteenth century cottage at each end of the original range, all now combined as a single dwelling. The record for this monument has been enhanced with support from Wessex Water.

Full Description

ST 8583 2277. Edwardstowe. A two-storeyed house with rubble walls and tiled roofs comprises a three roomed building of ca. 1500 together with an C18th cottage at each end of the range, all combined as one dwelling. <1> Bimport, No. 52, (Edwardstowe). Converted cottage range incorporating some remains possibly dating from the early C16th or before. These may have formed part of outlying Abbey buildings. Grade II. <2>
