Summary
Stone setts extend from the platform at the top of Gold Hill downwards as far as number 15; these cover the width of the roadway from outside the houses as far as the buttresses of Park Wall. Gutter on the west side just beyond the footpath [wider at the top]; another gutter on the east side which runs down past number s 15, 16 and 17 to the bottom of the hill. Both gutters lined with stone setts.
