Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
A bowl barrow, one of a loose scatter of barrows adjacent to a probable bank barrow. In 1955, Ordnance Survey field investigation failed to find any trace at the reported location, suggesting that it may have been levelled by ploughing, although at the time the area was under grass. Previously, RCHME had recorded it as a mound 21 feet in diameter and 0.75 feet high.
