Full Description

Strip lynchets are marked at this location on the OS 1:10,000 scale map. They are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and may be medieval in origin or of much earlier date - perhaps relating to the prehistoric enclosure on Tenant's Hill (MDO1263). The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project. {1}
