Summary

School, now house. Probably 1835 though may be late eighteenth or early nineteenth century. Built of ashlar with a tiled roof with gable ends, stone dressings and ashlar stacks with brick flues. The buttressed north wall forms a prominent feature in Penny Street. Probably the National School mentioned by Hutchins as being built in 1835.
