Summary
The font is twelfth century, but nothing else appears to survive of the medieval church, which was extensively rebuilt in 1856 and restored again in 1899. The building is is of Greensand, with rough ashlar walls and finer ashlar dressings. The roof is of tile and stone slates.
The record for this monument has been enhanced with support from Wessex Water.

Full Description
Church of St. John the Baptist, Farrington was mainly rebuilt in 1839 but contains a font of the 12th century. <1>
Pevsner and Newman refer to the building as Chapel, but give no dedication. <4>
The building at ST 84151507 is not depicted as a church on OS 1:10,000 1983. <5>
