Monument record MDO1392 - Bowl barrow on White Hill, Littlebredy

Summary
A bowl barrow 120m east of White Hill Wood. The barrow has a mound composed of earth, chalk and flint with a maximum diameter of 25m and a maximum height of about one metre. An infilled quarry ditch surrounds the mound, surviving as a buried feature. The barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs.

A grass covered ditchless bowl barrow, with a slight hollow in the centre. Diameter 20.0m, height 1.5m. <4>

A Bronze Age bowl barrow lying at SY5973688895. The barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs <7> and is 16m across. It was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
