Summary

A Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1952 this monument was reported as being around 41 feet in diameter with a mound about 2½ feet high.

Full Description

'B' A bowl barrow; diameter 16 paces, height 2 ft. <2> These barrows are on arable ground: A and B in areas of grass, the others under a hay crop. B: A grass covered bowl barrow with no visible ditch. The mound is 15.0m in diameter and 0.6m high, and there are swallow holes to the NW and NE of the barrow. <4> Six bowl barrows listed, details as Auth 2. <5> SY 549940. Three round barrows W of Two Gates. Scheduled. (Barrows B, C and F). Three more round barrows originally part of the group and recorded by RCHME as being circa 1 ft high are now ploughed out. Visited in 1958. <6-7>
