Summary
A bridge over the lake in Sherborne Castle park. The bridge was built in the late eighteenth century, possibly to the design of Robert Mylne in 1790. Ashlar stonework, in 3 segmental spans divided by broad projecting piers. The segmental arches have moulded archivolts. There is a balustraded parapet, divided by pedestals between the arches, and over the crowns of the arches.

Full Description
Ornamental stone bridge of three arches in Sherborne Park. Built 1767-1769 for Henry 7th Lord Digby and possibly designed by his younger brother Captain Robert Digby. <2>
