Summary
A pit filled with Romano-British building debris and pottery was found in July 1965 measuring 9ft by 9ft. It is possible that there was a Roman building in the vicinity.

Full Description
A pit was doscovered in July 1965 at SY55369080. Approximately 9 feet in diameter by 9 feet deep, it contained Roman building material, coarse Roman pottery and everted-rim sherds. It was probably created to bury the material which probably locally derived. <1>
