Full Description
'Mediaeval sherds from the new Rectory, Litton Cheney; SY55209077. While digging foundations for the new Rectory about 50 yards north-east of St. Mary's Church, some mediaeval sherds were found. A large piece of a rim of a cooking pot with an everted frilled rim, of 11th/12th century date, has been given to the Museum (1956.10)'. (1)
