Summary
Late fifteenth century farmhouse originally with an open hall in the west half of house, with ceilings and chimney stacks being introduced in the late sixteenth century. In the mid seventeenth century the building was extended to the east and to the north east, with the addition of a service wing. A service wing, cider-house and store, was added to the north west in the late eighteenth century. The walls of the building are a mixture of rubble and dressed stone in different places, and some of the roof is tiled, some thatched.
