Summary

The church was built in the early fifteenth century, with additions in the sixteenth century, but was subjected to very drastic restoration in the later nineteenth century. The building has walls of stone rubble with ashlar dressings, and a tiled roof.

Full Description

(ST 59991177) St Michael's Church [NAT]. (1) Parish Church of St Michael. Nave and West tower are of the first half of the C15th; North porch C16th. Extensively rebuilt in 1882 by Crickmoy, although the West tower of 1897 is by Ponting. Grade II. (2-4)
