Human bones were found in 1930 when a tree was uprooted. This find may indicate the location of a Bronze Age round barrow.

Full Description
'… partly obscured by vegetation. It appeared to be a low mound, c. 8m in diameter, prbably somewhat less than 1m high. There was no obvious disturbance. The position seems to match that in the O.S. and S.M.R., i.e. on the south-west part of the hilltop.' (3)
