Summary
A building of 16th or early 17th-century date with front and rear elevations in early 19th-century Gothic Revival style. The front of the building is covered in stucco and pebbledash with decorative features including a pierced parapet with Gothic arcading. Surviving features of the interior are reported to include moulded ceiling beams and a 17th-century staircase. The building was the premises of the Sherborne and Dorsetshire Bank, which was established in the middle of the 18th century and merged with the National Provincial in 1843.

The Bank House. Built early in the C16th and has a late C17th addition on the south-west. Much reconstructed in the last century. (1)
The Old Bank House. The front and rear elevation are in early C19th Gothic-Revival style. Grade 2*. (3,4)
