Monument record MDO1517 - Bowl barrow north west of Dowerfield Farm, Long Bredy

Summary
A Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1952 this monument was reported as being around 48 feet in diameter with a mound about four feet high. The eastern side of the mound has been disturbed, possibly in the course of antiquarian investigation.

Full Description
A bowl barrow; diameter 19 paces, height 4 1/2 ft. This barrow has been damaged. <2>
A bowl barrow, with no visible ditch, at present under crops. It has a diameter of 19.0m and is 0.8m high. Large flints are exposed on the flattened top. <4>
