Summary
South frontage of Dingles is a four-storey department store façade of iron, built circa 1895. It is five bays wide projecting over pavement on a remodelled colonnade. A fifth storey added in later twentieth century.

Full Description
4-storey iron facade of department store, circa 1895, 5 bays wide projecting over pavement on remodelled colonnade; 5th storey added recently. 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors fully glazed between Corinthian colonnettes of iron, apart from panelled upstands to sill level on 2nd and 3rd floors. 1st and 2nd floors have spandrels of openwork foliage patterns in iron. Facade returns to building line by whole bay of similar detail to east and west.
