Full Description
1865, Habershon and Pite. Now part of College of Technology. Tudor Gothic villa (style of William Burn) entirely in rich red brick, including dressings, relieving arches and hoodmoulds. Asymmetrical, with dominant south-east tower and ogee spire, machicolated brick cornice, Perpendicular panelling to door. Central bay window canted on ground floor, connected to rectangular 1st floor by mouldedbrick squinches. South-west entrance porch (gable behind remodelled). East and west flanks with crow-stepped gables and dormers. Shallow court to north, with wings ending in massive crow-stepped chimneybreasts.
