Summary

A stuccoed Gothic villa built circa 1855 and now used as a hotel. It has a continuous roof slope with a gable at each end, against it at right-angles there are two lower gables symmetrically flanking the entrance and a third to the west symmetrically between.

Full Description

Includes rear wing numbered 51 Gervis Road. Stucco Gothic villa, circa 1855. Continuous roof slope with gable at each end, against it at right-angles 2 lower gables symmetrically flanking entrance and a third to the west symmetrically between. 2 dormers. 2nd floor windows in gables arched, with Y-tracery in glazing bars, similar window at 1st floor over entrance, recessed behind balcony with notched X-pattern balustrade. Hoodmoulds to arched windows and dormers only, other windows straight-headed and flush. (1)
