Full Description

Picturesque cottage, ground floor and semi-attic, dark red brick and scarlet tile-hanging, circa 1880. Asymmetrical L-shape, with half-hipped gables to road and drive and lean-to hipped porch in angle; dormers also hipped. Hipped canted bay to ground floor. All windows casements, diamond lattice glazing to ground floor. Big iron hinges to door. Eaves cornice of dropped bricks. Tilehanging and roof in alternating bands of scalloped and ordinary tiles. Rectangular chimney on ridge. Flat-roofed addition to south-west.
