Pumping station of circa 1875, buff brick of attractive rough-cut texture. Tapered 80 ft chimney with heavy capping, local landmark on riverside. Segment-headed blind arcades, some enclosing segmant-headed windows, much altered and extended, hipped roof of slate replaced by ambles covered in corrugated asbestos. 2 outbuildings also buff brick, segment-headed windows and slate roofs. Modern extensions for coach repair works.
