Full Description
Chest tomb, now sunk except for ledger slab. Probably Cl7. Limestone, Described by Kinson Historical Society as follows: "A mastaba shaped tomb approx 6ft long which carries the inscription: 'Here lyeth the body of John Weare of Little Canford. A Glover, who was buried here October 15 1667...' The oldest grave in this church- yard. Although only the slab is now visible, this monument is of historic interest to the parish.
