Full Description
Part of an Italianate stucco terrace, circa 1850-60, stepping up hill, comprising Nos 6-34 Poole Hill. Each house is three storeys and three windows wide, except for the central three which are five windows wide, including No 16. The first floor windows are connected by a thin stringcourse on consoles, breaking over centre window of each house as triangular pediment. Main cornice survives on Nos 6-10 and 14-16, roofs recessed behind parapet. Rear also stucco, with many extensions. The ground floor has been altered with the insertion of a bank frontage.
