A cottage built in picturesque style about 1850, as part of Talbot model village. Brick built, ground floor and semi-attic, with lean-to timber verandah-porch set across angle. Steeply pitched roofs with ornamental scalloped tiles in bands alternating with ordinary tiles.

Full Description
Picturesque cottage, circa 1850, ground floor and semi-attic, buff brick with some grey headers. L plan, diagonal to road, with lean-to timber verandah-porch set across angle. Mullioned casements, diamond lattice glazing, 3 lights with transom on ground floor, 2 lights on 1st. Steeply pitched roofs with ornamental scalloped tiles in bands alternating with ordinary tiles, carried down low at rear, overhanging eaves, plain bargeboards. Gable ends have canted bays with hipped roofs to ground floor, 1st floor blind in gable, 2-light windows elsewhere. Diagonally set pair of chimneystacks on ridge.
