Summary
Picturesque brick cottage, built circa 1850 as part of the Talbot model village. Brick-built, ground floor and semi-attic, with steeply pitched roofs with ornamental scalloped tiles in bands alternately with ordinary tiles.

Full Description
Picturesque cottage, circa 1850, ground floor and semi-attic, red brick. L plan, diagonal to road, with lean-to timber verandah-porch set across angle (door now blocked). Mullioned casements, diamond lattice glazing. Steeply pitched roofs with ornamental scalloped tiles in bands alternately with ordinary tiles overhanging eaves, plain bargeboards. Lean-to across rear (north-west), with single-storey wing projecting at right-angles at 2 different heights. Gable ends have canted bays with hipped roofs to ground floor, 1st floor blind to gables, 2-light windows elsewhere. Diagonally set pair of chimneystacks on ridge.
