Full Description

Picturesque cottage on pathway in pinewocd, circa 1850, ground floor and semi-attic, all painted white except lower and narrower 2-storey wing of red brick projecting at rear (with storehouse at ground level). Asymmetrical T plan, with east gable carried down low over lean-to timber verandah-porch. Mullioned casements, diamond lattice glazing (some gone), 3 lights with transom on ground floor, 2 lights on 1st. Steeply pitched roofs, with ornamental scalloped tiles in bands alternating with ordinary tiles, overhanging eaves, plain bargeboards. Diagonally set pair of chimneystacks on ridge.
