Summary
Stable block with a probable Tudor core but with early 19th century alterations and additions. The building is in two parts, the southern section adjoining the north-west side of the house, the northern section forming three sides of the stable courtyard.

Full Description
Stable block with a probable Tudor core but with early 19th century alterations and additions. The building is in two parts, the southern section adjoining the north-west side of the house, the northern section forming three sides of the stable courtyard. The southern section is of two storeys in red brick with a parapet and a coped gable with a ball finial at each end of the facade. There is an old tiled roof and a modern brick colonnade to the front. There is also a slender octagonal clock tower rising from ground level in front of the central section, with a rendered facade, angle buttresses, a blocking course, parapet and a domed cupola with bell. The northern section is of one and one half storeys in red brick with a tiled roof with stone slate verges and a gable in the centre of each facade. (1)
