Summary

Early Victorian pillar box of around 1856 situated at the junction of the main thoroughfare of Mudeford and the road to Mudeford Quay. Cast iron with fluted column, plinth and round cap. Vertical letter box.

Recorded by P Carter, Jul-1972, Record No. HA83. <1> 19th century cast iron pillar box located on a small green opposite Mount Pleasant. Dated circa 1856 This description is derived from the associated designation record, the validity of which has not been checked.
