Summary

Mediaeval. This was the Porters' Lodge of Christchurch Priory, restored by the last Prior in the early 16th century. Stone rubble, stone slate roof; top half now tiled. 2 storeys. 2 windows, casements with leaded glazing. 1 of 1st floor windows has gable above, which breaks through eaves, dripstone mould and arched lights with mullion between. Round arched 6 panel door, panels now glazed.
